Animation Toolbar
The Animation toolbar is visible if there is an actuator inserted inside the diagram. Use the tools to animate, play back, record, and manipulate the mechanism.
starts the animation or playback. During animation, the mechanism draws the tracepath (a blue curve) and collects velocity and acceleration data. Velocity vectors are drawn at intervals to help better understand the motion of the mechanism. Tap on the Graph icon and watch how displacement, velocity and acceleration change during the movement of geometry.
pauses the animation or playback. You can tap on a different actuator to investigate more complex mechanisms, zoom or pan, or open the graph window to check values.
starts recording the mechanism movement into a MJPEG video. Resulting AVI video file is placed on the device for further processing. The video can be played from ForceEffect Motion Gallery. The play icon
appears on the galery preview after the video is recorded. If recorded, the video is also attached to a Report provided for the mechanism.
stops playback, and moves the mechanism to the starting position.
goes backwards one frame at a time and
goes forwards one frame at a time. These two commands are useful to fine tune the exact position of the mechanism, for example when precise geometry adjustment is needed.
opens the time panel, where you can setup when each actuator plays.
sends the mechanism to Autodesk ForceEffect. You can perform static force analyses and check if the forces in the mechanism are within the design limits. Autodesk ForceEffect is available on Google Play
